Fudgetown Farm is looking for a part-time (~10 hrs per week) farmhand for the 2025 growing season (March-October). We are offering $15/hour plus free vegetables and flowers.

We are a small scale (~1 acre) organic vegetable and flower farm located about 10 minutes south of Oxford. We are looking for help with harvesting, washing, and packing our vegetables and flowers for market on Mondays and Fridays. The hours will shift somewhat with the season, but generally be from early morning to early afternoon.

You will work alongside James, the farm manager, and occasionally Jordan, the farm co-owner. A typical day might include an hour planting cucumbers, an hour harvesting strawberries, an hour washing and packing lettuce, an hour mulching, and an hour weed-whacking fencelines. It is physical work and does get hot in the summer, but we try to finish early and listen to our bodies; there is a walk-in cooler and plenty of popsicles and water for breaks. 

Prior farming experience is not expected, but we value reliability, communication, and a drive to get things done. You will be able to learn as much as you’d like (and we know) about regenerative, organic farming. You will need to organize your own transportation to the farm on work days.ß
