How we farm

Our commitment to clean growing

We are proud to announce that we are Certified Naturally Grown (CNG)! That means we grow all of our produce and flowers without harmful pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs. CNG has nearly identical standards as organic certification. The main difference is it uses a local, grassroots certification model instead of relying on commercial certification companies. It also promotes transparency. You can check out our certification form here.

Our agricultural methods

To manage pests, weeds, and disease, we use a variety of organic methods including crop rotation, tarping, mulching, cover cropping, and hedgerows for beneficial insects. We also use compost and organic fertilizers, such as fish emulsion, to meet nutrient needs. Our goal is to reduce the need for external inputs over time and create a self-sustaining ecosystem.
